About SF 1100 : A Synthetic Spindles Oil
Unlike conventional petroleum based lubricants,
Selco SF 1100 is specifically formulated with
a synthetic base stock to achieve maximum
lubricity in unusually high temperature conditions.
SF 1100 is a non-staining spindle oil.
It does not leave any carbonaceous deposits
at a high temperature that petroleum-based
lubricants do. As is common knowledge carbon
deposits instead of aiding lubricity actually
increase friction. The very purpose of a
lubricant is thus defeated.
SF 1100 is fully formulated spindle oil
specially designed for the lubrication of
spindles used in ring frames/open end machines.
It enhances spindle life and causes extremely
low fraction performance. Due to it's excellent
lubrication property it dramatically reduces
the power consumption of the spindle device.
